Robert Kiyosaki, the author of “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” and a well-known Bitcoin enthusiast, has made a bold prediction that Bitcoin will reach a price of $350,000 by 2025. This prediction comes as Kiyosaki has criticized asset manager BlackRock for allegedly trying to manipulate the price of BTC. Kiyosaki claims that BlackRock, under the leadership of Larry Fink, is selling off large amounts of Bitcoin to suppress the price below $100,000, allowing market whales to purchase at lower prices.
Kiyosaki’s distrust of BlackRock stems from his belief that the asset manager is focused solely on maximizing returns for shareholders, rather than considering the interests of employees and communities. He points to recent data showing BlackRock moving over $203 million worth of BTC to Coinbase Prime, raising questions about the company’s intentions with these assets. Despite BlackRock’s large Bitcoin Spot ETF, IBIT, which boasts $52.71 billion in net assets, Kiyosaki recommends against investing in BTC through BlackRock’s ETF and instead advises direct investment.
Despite BlackRock’s alleged price manipulation tactics, Kiyosaki remains bullish on Bitcoin’s future, stating his intention to purchase more BTC as he believes the cryptocurrency will eventually reach $350,000 per unit by 2025. While Bitcoin is currently trading at $94,405 with a daily trading volume of $51.35 billion, its immediate resistance lies at $100,000. Breaking this resistance could potentially lead to a return to the $108,000 price region, marking a total price recovery for the premier cryptocurrency. However, a rejection at $100,000 could lead to BTC remaining in its current consolidation pattern.
Bitcoin continues to maintain its position as the largest digital asset by market cap, with total market shares of $1.86 trillion and a crypto market dominance of 56.8%. Despite the recent price fluctuations and allegations of price manipulation, Bitcoin remains a popular investment choice for many, with supporters like Robert Kiyosaki voicing optimism about its long-term potential. As the crypto market continues to evolve, it will be interesting to see how Bitcoin’s price and market dynamics unfold in the coming years.
