Aethir, a Singapore-based web3 firm, has announced the creation of a $100 million ecosystem fund to support artificial intelligence (AI) and gaming developments. This initiative aims to provide funding and computational resources to companies working on cutting-edge technologies in these sectors. By offering grants and partnerships, Aethir hopes to empower businesses with the resources they need to accelerate innovation.
The fund’s first phase, known as the Aethir Catalyst program, is already in motion. This program offers grants and compute subsidies to promising AI and gaming enterprises. Grants, ranging from $5,000 to $200,000 in Aethir’s native utility token $ATH, can be used to purchase compute power within the Aethir ecosystem. In addition to financial support, companies also receive marketing assistance to help promote their innovations.
Aethir Catalyst not only provides grants but also offers compute subsidies, reducing the cost of computing services by up to 35%. This enables businesses to scale their operations efficiently while keeping costs low. Eligible candidates for this program include AI-integrated enterprises, cloud gaming platforms, and gaming innovators with high user engagement potential.
Aethir’s decentralized infrastructure features over 43,000 GPUs and a network of 32,000 Edge devices distributed globally. These resources are optimized for high-performance AI workloads and cloud gaming platforms, ensuring reliable and scalable computing power for businesses of all sizes. Through the Aethir Edge program, operators of Edge devices can participate in the network and earn ATH rewards.
Enterprises utilizing Aethir’s decentralized network or participating in token allocations are eligible for the grant program. Applications are assessed based on computing requirements, user engagement potential, revenue models, and innovation in AI or gaming. The Aethir Grant Committee, which consists of industry experts, oversees the selection process and determines grant sizes and milestones.
The first phase of the fund includes partnerships with companies like XAI and XPLA, with plans to introduce more collaborations in future phases. Aethir aims to establish itself as a leading player in advancing AI and gaming technologies globally by offering enterprise-grade GPU services. Through its $100 million ecosystem fund, Aethir is committed to supporting innovators in these sectors and driving technological advancements.
